Currently, I am expanding my work to involve more conceptual ideas and imagery. The major theme I am pursuing now is women and identity. As a female myself, I feel compelled to explore our role in the world, beyond what is on the outside. My series below, The Lies We Tell, are film stills meant to explore the role of women today, and how they are connected to the "ideal" women of the 1950's. I have taken inspiration from Cindy Sherman's work, however, they are different in that the model is not in a setting, but rather in a studio.
